Katatapos lang naming kumain ng hapunan. Nanonood kami ni mama ng palabas sa TV kasama ang bunso kong kapatid na si Robee. Mayamaya ay nagsalita si mama.

“Anak, mag-promisory note ka lang muna sa pag-enroll mo ngayong pasukan. Delayed kasi iyong sahod namin eh.” sabi sa akin ni mama. “Pagdating ng sahod namin ay agad naman nating babayaran kasama na ang iyong tuition bago mag first grading niyo.”
